Safety Profile

TWINZOL was evaluated for safety in 1035 patients with elevated IOP treated for open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension, approximately 5% of all patients discontinued therapy due to some adverse reactions like:

Taste perversion, ocular burning, conjunctival hyperemia, blurred vision, blepharitis & bronchitis.

TWINZOL should be used with caution in patients with:

Respiratory & cardiac diseases.

Renal & hepatic impairment.

Severe disturbance of blood circulation in the extremeties.
- Hypersensitivity to dorzolamide.
- It is contraindicated in the following:
- Reactive airway diseases including bronchial asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases.
- Bradycardia, 2nd or 3rd degree of atrioventricular block, cardiac failure & cardiogenic shock.
- Severe renal impairment.
- Hypersensitivity to any of the drug components.
