Orchacin Overview
Orchacin drops is the First line of treatment in bacterial conjunctivitis.
Orchacin is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infection of the anterior
segment including conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and blepharo-conjunctivitis
which are due to lomefloxacin susceptible germs.
Orchacin eye drops has an Ultra broad spectrum coverage.
Antimicrobial spectrum includes Gram-positive organisms; e.g. Staph.aureus,
Staph.epidermis, corynebacterium.
Gram-negative bacteria; Branhamella catarrhalis, Neisseria spp., Enterobacter
spp. including Ps.aeruginosa
Orchacin eye drops has a unique and flexible dosage regimen.
Orchacin offers a flexible dosage regimen, starting dose (five drops in 20 minutes) and then twice daily or 4 times daily.
